Layer It Up Lace and Flowers

I often make 'open' cards without any sentiment, especially feminine ones as I can add the appropriate wording when I need to send it.

This is one of those cards which I'm entering into two challenges:

and
CRAFT ROOM - Ribbons and Lace

I started by stamping over the card blank using Crafty Individuals' CI-017 script stamp and Distress Ink in Seedless Preserve, varying the position and orientation of the stamp.  Next I used CI-350 Lace stamp with the same DI and stamped the wide panel of lace down the side.  I added the cream lace onto the stamped edge and the ribbon next to that.

I die cut the various layers of the flowers using the Cricut Flower Shoppe cartridge and a selection of light and dark coloured card.  These were then pieced together with Glossy Accents and finished with a pearl.  The swirls were cut from the Cindy Loo cartridge.  The leaf was stamped using a free stamp from Craft Stamper Magazine and heat embossed with Frantage Aged Scarlet heat embossing enamel.

Those lovely colours are a tonic on what was a wet and dull day in my corner of the world - very pretty.
