A Frosty Christmas Tree Decoration

Here's a little Christmas tree hanging made as a gift.  In a few days I'll post the gift bag and card to go with it.
The lighting wasn't good when I took the pictures, no matter how I changed the position of the piece, so it has an almost bronze look to it but in fact all the embossing is silver.
I started with two pieces of very thick chipboard, white on one side and cut one down for the top layer and rounded the corners of the larger piece.  Using Distress Inks I coloured both pieces with Broken China, then spritzed each piece with Cosmic Shimmer Vintage Mist in Astral.  When dry each piece was stamped with Crafty Individuals' CI-017 script stamp (one of my favourites) using DI Pumice Stone.  Each corner was then heat embossed using the holly leaves from the edge of the sentiment stamp used for the top piece.
On the smaller top piece of card I used extra thick embossing powder in silver and after heating three layers, pushed the Merry Christmas stamp into the hot powder to leave an impression.  This was then layered onto a piece of stripped, corrugated card painted silver.
Again the light wasn't good here but it is definitely silver.
The eyelets were punched using a Crop-a-Dile and some small dots of Turquoise Stickles were added along with the ribbon hanging to finish it off.
