I didn't realise how long it had been since my last post. I haven't managed to do any crafting for a few weeks; don't ask me why. The time just goes, I'm too tired or I don't have an idea in my head. We all go through the crafting doldrums at some time or other and maybe it was just to do with the wintry weather but at least now the skies are bluer, the sun is brighter and temperature warmer, so I hope I'm back on track.
Here's a little tag book made from the bits left over after hot laminating an A4 sheet in an A3 laminating pouch. I used StazOn inks in black, orange, red and yellow, a piece of ball chain and a 1/4 " corner rounder. The sentiments are from the Tim Holtz 'Stuff to Say' Collection.
First I inked one side of each tag with the StazOn inks to give a light, patchy background. When dry I turned them over and stamped the sentiments on the other side.
You need to be careful when stamping onto acetate or laminated sheets as the image can slip and smudge but I felt it added a quirkiness to the tag so I left it.
Each image is using one of the free stamps from Craft Stamper Magazine.
When the tag book is closed it is still possible to read the sentiment on each tag but you get a tantalising hint of what's underneath.
This tag can quite easily be attached to a key ring, bag or tucked away to be brought out on a rainy day when you need something to stimulate those 'little grey cells!!'
I'm entering this into two challenges:
