Parisian Chic

Over at CRAFT ROOM the challenge is Le Chic Francais which makes a nice change from all the Christmas craft we've all been producing lately.

I started with a piece of thick chipboard which I painted cream using acrylic paint and when dry I stamped the Clarity Eiffel Tower stamp using StazOn black ink.  I made a mask of the tower and placed it on the image then stamped over the whole background  randomly with Crafty Individuals' CI-017 script stamp in Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

The frame is a cream mount which I bought for 20p at a charity shop and distressed with DI Tattered Rose.  I stamped the small Eiffel Tower, Paris and Arc de Triomphe in Vintage Photo again directly onto the frame.

I spritzed some white card with Cosmic Shimmer Vintage Mists in Astral Mystery and stamped CI-306 Corsetry stamp and CI-341 Perfume Labels.  I cut out the elements from these stamps that I wanted and added to the picture and frame, inking round the edge of the perfume labels with DI Broken China and using 3D foam pads to give some dimension.  I typed the words Haute Couture and Coco Chanel using the French Script font and matted onto some of the spritzed card.  Some cream lace and a nice ribbon loop for hanging finished the project nicely.
