Rudolph's In Town

The Christmas preparations continue with this sweet little hanging using a slightly more frosty, yet sparkly colour palette.

I rounded the corner of a piece of thick white card and sprayed with Glimmer Mist in Gingerbread and Cosmic Shimmer Vintage Mist in Patina and Antique Rose, allowing each layer to dry first. Using a piece of Micro Mesh as a mask, I inked over the bottom left hand corner using Distress Ink in Broken China, then used a music score stamp (sorry, I can't remember the make;  I really must keep a note of these things) to stamp over the card with the same DI.  I then attached a thin strip of the mesh along the bottom of the card.

I used DI in Pumice Stone (a very versatile colour) to stamp the Crafty Individuals CI-332 Reindeer stamp onto white card and inked the edges in the same colour.  I added a red nose using Stickles Xmas Red and Stickles Icicles for the centres of the stars and Rudolph's antlers.

I printed off the sheet music for Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer from, aged it with cold tea and then tore round the piece I wanted.  The Santa sleigh is another CI stamp which was free with an order and stamped in blue StazOn onto acetate.  The brads, pearls, gems and bow with a silver and crystal charm were added and then the lace round the edge.  To neaten the back and ensure the lace would stay put, I added a piece of plain card to the back.

I'm entering this in the following challenges:

CRAFTY INDIVIDUALS  - Festive Sparkle challenge

Whoops!! Sorry, I've just noticed the shadow over the sheet music.
