Waiting At The Altar

Here's a tag I'm entering into the CRAFT ROOM challenge Pins/and or Charms.  Pop over to their blog to check it out.

I used a Crafty Individuals' plain white tag and inked all over using Distress Ink in Shabby Shutters.  Then I stamped over sections using a flower stamp from a Kanban Chinese set using VersaMark ink and dried it with a heat gun.  I used DI in Mustard Seed to ink over the top and then sprayed with Glimmer Mist in Gingerbread. This gave the flowers a slightly darker outline and when dry I used the same stamp and the Mustard Seed to stamp over the tag again.

The image is from Crafty Individuals' Miniatures, People and Places 2,  framed with a die cut using Cricut cartridge Elegant Edges.  The pin was made using an earring finding and some beads and the butterfly charm is metal with a little Ranger Stickles added to brighten it up.

Hi Sue, this is beautiful! I love the contrast of the image against the beautiful background you've created, and your pin is fabulous with the flower. You have a wonderful style. Thanks for joining in with our Charms/Pins theme over at the Craft-Room Challenge.
