Feeling Blue for a Challenge

Over at Fashionable Stamping Challenges the current theme is Monochromatic plus one other colour.  Trying to think of something different for this challenge, the theme seemed to lend itself to an art journal page, so that's what I did.

I used shades of blue in Distress Ink Broken China and StazOn blue with Distress Ink in Pumice Stone as the other colour, and acrylic paint and tissue paper for the background.

For the little images, I lightly coloured the card with the Broken China then stamped with a script stamp in Pumice Stone before stamping the main images in a shade of blue on the top.  The sentiment 'Cherish Those Dreams' is stamped in Pumice Stone and StazOn blue and then smudged, along with the main images and torn paper strips with more ink to give a faded, wistful look.

Hi Sue
I like how you incorporated tissue paper for that little bit of texture. The images look so lovely stamped with that colour.
Thank you for sharing with us at FSC.
