Thoroughly Modern Millie

Here's another card made with one of the new Crafty Individuals' stamps, CI -324.  I had great fun putting this one together mixing torn paper, lace and inks.

I put a strip of pink patterned paper across the middle of the card and then using a 6" x 6" square of paper from the Tim Holtz Vintage Shabby paper stack, stamped the image using Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink.  When dry I tore the two female images (the complete image can be seen in the middle of the card) and inked the edges with more Brushed Corduroy, mounting them on the paper strip.  I took some smooth white card and inked lightly with Distress Ink in Milled Lavender then stamped the whole image again using black StazOn.  I used the Brushed Corduroy to ink the edges and put this panel in the middle and finished of with some cream lace and randomly placed gems.

Take a good look at your rubber stamp collection to see where individual elements can be torn out or masked off, increasing the versatility of the images you have.  It's amazing how many smaller elements from one large stamp can be used independently when you really look.
